Our Story
with founder Jenna Nicole Schoen
Growing up on Long Island, Jenna trained in classical ballet while also developing a deep love for musical theater. Like many young performers, she often found herself choosing between disciplines. That experience shaped her belief that strong performers are built through integrated training, not forced specialization.
She trained at The Boston Conservatory on a merit-based scholarship and built her early career through regional theater before joining the Broadway National Tour of Jersey Boys, where she learned the demands of commercial musical theater under the direction of Tony Award–winning director Des McAnuff.
She remained with the show for seven years in various capacities, performing across multiple companies and venues, including the upcoming film adaptation of the show alongside Nick Jonas.
She went on to tour with Wicked before joining their Broadway company, continuing to work in large-scale, long-running productions. After participating in early developmental workshops, she opened The Who’s Tommy as an Original Broadway Cast member which brought her to the Tony Awards, as a nominee for Best Revival. After her time with Tommy, she returned to Wicked, where she continued performing while expanding her work as an educator, informed by years of sustained professional experience.
Jenna has taught all over the US & Canada as a guest artist at select Performing Arts training studios, high schools and colleges. Today, her work blends conservatory-inspired technique with real-world audition strategy. Her goal is to demystify the professional process while building confident, well-rounded performers prepared for auditions, college programs, and long-term growth in the industry.
Through ProArts, Jenna offers individualized coaching and tailored masterclasses designed to meet each student where they are—whether they are refining fundamentals, preparing for auditions, or exploring the next steps in their training.
